Clark State Community College will hold a graduation ceremony for the Emergency Medical Services Paramedic Certification Program on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at 6 p.m. at the Brinkman Educational Center in downtown Springfield. Sixteen students have completed requirements to receive the Paramedic Certification from Clark State.

Clark State Holds Pinning Ceremonies for Nursing Graduates

The Clark State Community College – Springfield Regional School of Nursing Registered Nursing program pinning ceremony will be held Friday, December 11, 2015, at 6 p.m. at the Clark State Performing Arts Center. Fifty-four registered nurses will be honored at this event. The Practical Nursing Certificate program pinning ceremony was held Thursday, December 10, 2015. Thirty practical nurses were honored at this event.

Clark State Will Offer 15 Trustee Scholarships to Students

Clark State Community College is currently accepting applications for Trustee Scholarships for the 2016-17 academic year. The Clark State Trustee Scholarships cover full tuition for two years (60 credit hours), including instructional, general and technology fees. The scholarships will be awarded to academically-talented students slated to graduate from high school in the spring of 2016.

Clark State Community College will soon launch the Center for Nonprofit Excellence. The goal is to provide critical training for leaders and members of nonprofit organizations. The Center for Nonprofit Excellence will be housed in Clark State’s Workforce Development office in the Brinkman Educational Center in Springfield, Ohio.

Alpha Nu Lambda, Clark State Community College’s chapter of the international honor society Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), will hold a fall induction ceremony at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 18. More than 30 students have accepted the invitation to join PTK—the world’s largest honor society for two-year college students.
