Clark State Enhances Campus Food Pantry with Shopping Experience for Students, Help from Second Harvest Food Bank

The Clark State Community College Office of Student Support has expanded their Food Pantry services in order to meet more than the immediate needs of students. With the added donation of 1,000 pounds of shelf-stable food from the Second Harvest Food Bank in Springfield, the Office of Student Support is now able to offer students a “shopping experience” at the Pantry.

Clark State to Host 2nd Annual Student Success Conference

Clark State Community College will host its 2nd Annual Student Success Conference on December 10 beginning at 8 a.m. The 2020 Clark State Student Success Conference is an opportunity for Clark State faculty and staff to highlight what they have done, what they are doing and future plans to promote student success at the college. The Student Success Conference is open to Clark State faculty and staff and members of the public.

Clark State to Honor Military Veterans with Activities on Campus

Clark State Community College will commemorate Veterans Day with various campus activities including the display of 2,000 United States flags at the Springfield campus on Leffel Lane, the Greene Center in Beavercreek and at Ohio Hi-Point Career Center in Bellefontaine. The POW/MIA flag will be raised at the Springfield Leffel Lane campus.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 Live Coming to Springfield

The award-winning TV comedy “Mystery Science Theater 3000” is coming to Springfield in an all-new LIVE show featuring Joel Hodgson, original host and the creative vision behind the beloved TV and Netflix comedy series for more than three decades, in his final live tour. Mystery Science Theater 3000 Live: The Great Cheesy Movie Circus Tour will play the Clark State Performing Arts Center with the never-before-screened film: Circus of Horrors on Thursday, November 14.
