The Clark State College Diagnostic Medical Sonography program is seeking volunteers to participate in ultrasound exams to help students gain experience using industry equipment. Participants will have the opportunity to observe a 2D ultrasound exam and receive thermal prints of their scan.
Volunteers will be part of practice labs conducted by DMS students, who will be supervised by OB/GYN registered sonographers to ensure a high-quality, educational experience.
To be eligible to participate, volunteers must meet four criteria: have been seen by a licensed medical provider, be available on Tuesdays or Thursdays, be in the 18- to 36-week pregnancy range preferably and complete necessary paperwork.
Interested individuals should contact Megan Platfoot, program coordinator for Clark State’s Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, at 937-328-7970 or via email at platfootm@clarkstate.edu for more information and to schedule participation.
