Governor Reappoints David Ball to Clark State Board of Trustees

March 3, 2021

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine reappointed David Ball to the Clark State College Board of Trustees on Wednesday, March 3. Ball will continue his dedicated service to Clark State through 2026.

“David Ball recognizes the important student success mission that Clark State advances and always put the students’ best interests first,” said Dr. Jo Alice Blondin, president of Clark State. “I look forward to continuing to work with this community and business leader.”

Clark State’s Board of Trustees oversees the operations of the College. Trustees are appointed by the Governor of Ohio for six-year terms. Board work sessions and regular meetings are generally held on the third Tuesday of each month.

David Ball, General Counsel of Speedway LLC, has served on the Clark State Board of Trustees since December of 2014. He said it is important to continue to serve because of the critical importance of the Clark State mission on the next generations and the communities in which we live and work.

“Clark State plays a vital role in supporting the community in a variety of ways far beyond just providing the next generation of citizens and workers with unique skills,” Ball said. “Serving on the Board is just one way to support the mission of Clark State and serve the local community.”
