Clark State Will Hold FAFSA Workshops for Current, Future Students

October 25, 2019

Clark State Community College will hold a series of workshops to assist current and future students in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The FAFSA is the key to funding a college education and helping families to overcome financial barriers that otherwise prevent students from attending the institution of their choice. The FAFSA is a form completed by current and prospective college students in the United States to determine their eligibility for student financial aid.

“Getting ready for a new semester or a new school year often starts with scoping out costs and ways to pay for college,” said Suzanne Harmon, director of financial aid at Clark State. “Filing the FAFSA is an important first step. We are here to help.”

Federal student aid recipients have to meet certain requirements in order to be considered eligible for federal financial aid funds.
