Clark State to Host Summer Basketball Camp for Girls

June 7, 2021

Clark State College will host its inaugural girl’s summer basketball camp for students in grades 3 through 8 beginning June 29.

The camp will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., June 29 through July 1, in the gymnasium located on Clark State’s main campus is 570 East Leffel Lane, Springfield.

“We are excited to host our first annual Lady Eagles basketball camp,” said Corey Steinke, Clark State women’s basketball coach. “This camp is designed to spark the interest of basketball in young players. This camp will help these young ladies build their skills, build a competitive spirit and develop a passion for the game.”

The Clark State basketball camp is ideal for players who are new to the sport, as well as those trying to continue their skill development. Clark State student-athletes and women’s basketball coaches will help players learn more about basketball in a very enthusiastic and fun atmosphere.

Many basketball skills will be covered in this three-day camp with fun games and competitions, too. Daily prizes will be awarded! Participants will be required to get a temperature check upon arrival.

Camp registration includes a t-shirt and is now open at: http://bit.ly/CSBasketball

Cost is $55 per player and space is limited.
