Clark State Community College will welcome Ohio House Representative Rick Carfagna to the Springfield campus on Monday, March 25.
Carfagna is serving his second term in the Ohio House of Representatives and is also chair of the Higher Education Sub-Committee.
“We look forward to Representative Carfagna’s visit,” said Dr. Jo Alice Blondin, president of Clark State. “We are excited to share the good work Clark State’s faculty and staff are doing to increase student success and completion in Ohio.”
Carfagna will begin by meeting with Clark State Executive Council at 9 a.m.; tour the Sweet Advanced Manufacturing Center featuring the new 5-axis CNC machine at 9:30 a.m.; and end his time on campus by engaging with Clark State students at 10 a.m.
