Clark State Faculty and Staff Nominated for NISOD Excellence Awards

More than ten Clark State faculty, adjunct faculty and staff have been nominated for a National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) Excellence Award.

NISOD’s Excellence Award recognizes men and women each year who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment and contribution to their students and colleagues.

Excellence Award nominees from Clark State include Adjunct Faculty: Mark Hopkins, Victor Howarah and Amy Knapp; Faculty: Pam Ball, Dana Matt and Fabian Novello; Staff: Travis Binkley, Melissa Checkie, David Farrell and Charmaine Misick. All nominees received a Professional Excellence Award at Clark State’s Charter Night last month.

The NISOD Excellence Award recipients will be celebrated during NISOD’s annual International Conference on Teaching and Leadership Excellence, May 23-26, in Austin, Texas. NISOD is a membership organization committed to promoting and celebrating excellence in teaching, learning and leadership at community and technical colleges.
