Clark State Community College is pleased to announce Toni Overholser as the director of business and community development. Overholser comes from the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce where she served as the president and CEO. She will be joining Clark State at the Greene Center on September 8, 2014, and will report to Dr. Amit Singh, the vice president of academic affairs.
In her new role, Overholser will create and maintain partnerships with Greene County employers and community organizations. She will be responsible for developing training programs jointly between the college and local businesses and agencies.
“I envision huge growth in the center, and I really want to showcase all that we have to offer as far as training. The goal is to not only help local businesses thrive in the area, but provide individuals with the tools they need to be successful throughout the entire region,” said Overholser.
Additionally, this position is responsible for establishing strong community outreach.
Overholser was hired as the chamber president and CEO in 2012. Prior to that, she worked with 95 different chambers throughout Ohio and was the executive director of the Southern Ohio Chamber Alliance. She has worked with all the chambers within Greene County.
