With fall classes beginning August 19, Clark State College will host Rock Enrollment on Tuesday, June 4 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the Wiley Student Plaza, 570 E. Leffel Lane in Springfield. During the event, Ryan Mundy, award-wining rock country artist and Clark State graduate, will perform a free concert from 5 p.m. - 6 p.m.

“Rock Enrollment is a dynamic, one-stop-shop opportunity for students to complete their registration and also to immerse themselves in the vibrant community we foster,” said Travis Binkley, dean of enrollment services. “This event provides personalized guidance in course selection, an introduction to our extensive student support services, financial aid assistance, and a platform for students to connect with faculty and peers, ensuring a strong start to their fall semester.”

With more than 160 degrees and certificates in agriculture, manufacturing, education, design, nursing, public safety, business and more, incoming and returning students can apply for admission and register for fall classes during Rock Enrollment. Classes are available in person, online and hybrid.

“At Clark State, we offer a variety of classes that allow both students and professionals to pursue their passions. Whether it’s an associate degree, bachelor’s degree or workforce certification, Clark State can save you money as you pursue academic and professional goals that will enable you to make more money in your career. We also have partnerships with many colleges and universities that allow students to easily transfer and obtain a four-year degree elsewhere at a fraction of the cost. Our financial aid office is available to help all students complete their FAFSA – Financial Aid Application to start or return to their college career.”

Clark State’s fall semester begins August 19 and the registration period is still open. Courses are structured to help students complete a degree, transfer to a four-year university or enter the workforce.

Rock Enrollment is open to all community members and includes campus tours, free food and a chance to win one of several $500 scholarship.
