Clark State College Will Pivot to Virtual Operations in Anticipation of Inclement Weather

January 31, 2022

Out of an abundance of caution and due to forecasted ice and snow, Clark State College will be moving to remote and virtual operations beginning Wednesday, February 2 after 5 p.m. through Friday, February 4.

“In anticipation of inclement weather on Wednesday night through Friday, I wanted to be proactive and assist faculty, staff, and students with planning regarding these days,” said Dr. Jo Alice Blondin, president of Clark State. “We will shift to virtual operations on Wednesday after 5 p.m. and will do so through Friday.”

Blondin said safety is the top priority for Clark State.

Clark State buildings at all locations - including the Performing Arts Center and Hollenbeck Bayley Creative Arts and Conference Center - will be closed on Thursday and Friday. All events scheduled for February 3 and 4 have been canceled.

Clark State looks forward to welcoming students, faculty, and staff back to campus on Monday, February 7.
