Clark State Accepting Applications from ITT Students, Providing Academic Advising

September 6, 2016

Clark State Community College will provide individual admissions and academic advising to ITT Technical Institute students and graduates in response to its announcement that it will close all of its locations.

"This is an unfortunate situation for ITT students, but Clark State can help them achieve their educational goals. Our admissions and advising staff can assist with developing personalized academic plans to help these students complete a degree or certificate in an academic program of their choice,” said Theresa Felder, vice president of student affairs and Greene Center operations.

Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, Clark State Community College offers associate degrees and certificates in most of the academic areas offered by ITT Technical Institute, including health, information technology, engineering and business.

According to Felder, Clark State’s admissions staff started to see an increase in calls and visits from ITT students in the last few weeks.

Clark State is currently accepting applications for Fall Semester B term which begins October 17. Students can enroll to take classes online or at any of Clark State’s three campus locations:  Springfield, Beavercreek and Bellefontaine.

Students and graduates from ITT Technical Institute are encouraged to contact the Clark State Admissions Office at 937-328-6028 to schedule an advising appointment.
