A Message from Clark State President Blondin

A Message from Clark State President Blondin

January 29, 2017

On Friday, January 27, President Trump signed an Executive Order entitled, "Protecting the Nation from Terrorist Attacks by Foreign Nationals."  As you know, Clark State has a number of international students on campus, and I am concerned about the effects that this Executive Order will have on our students and their families. Theresa Felder and the entire Student Affairs staff are working with our students individually to ensure that they continue their studies at Clark State without interruption. Should you hear from any students who are concerned about the actions outlined in the Executive Order, please have them contact Nina Wiley, Dean of Enrollment Services, immediately.

I have also included a link about the Executive Order from The Atlantic. Clark State is a college that is united behind all of our students and their success, and again, offering a quality, affordable education to all is the hallmark of a community college. We will do everything possible to allay the fears of our international students and ensure that they continue their studies uninterrupted.

As always, if you have any questions, please stop by, call, email, or contact me.

Sincerely,

Dr. Jo Alice Blondin
President
