Diamond Rio, Wyatt McCubbin Concert Rescheduled for June 18 at Clark State Performing Arts Center

Grammy Award winning country music band Diamond Rio will return to the Clark State Community College Performing Arts Center (PAC) on Thursday, June 18. This date has been rescheduled from the original date of April 17. The PAC is currently closed to all events through May 10 of this year to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Local country singer and songwriter Wyatt McCubbin will open for Diamond Rio.

Clark State Shifts All Classes to Online Format in Effort to Help Prevent Spread of COVID-19

In light of recent developments concerning the COVID-19 virus in Ohio, Clark State Community College will move all in-person classes on all campus locations, including Springfield, the Greene Center in Beavercreek, Xenia REACH Center and Ohio Hi-Point Career Center in Bellefontaine, to online or correspondence formats beginning Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 27, 2020.

Clark State Selected to Participate in Federal Work-Study Experiment

Clark State Community College has been selected for the Federal Work-Study (FWS) Experiment under the U.S. Department of Education’s Experimental Sites Initiative. The Department selected institutions to participate in the experiment based on a review of applications and information from our internal systems.

Clark State Welcomes Project Woman “One Love" to Campus to Raise Teen Dating Violence Awareness

Project Woman will present “One Love” – an Escalation film and discussion – on the Clark State campus on Leffel Lane in Springfield at 1 p.m., Tuesday, February 25. February is National Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. The Escalation film and discussion at Clark State will help participants recognize warning signs of dating violence and how they can intervene; or ask for help if they are being victimized. The event at Clark State is free of charge and open to faculty, staff, students and the local community.

Choir of Man Returns to Clark State Performing Arts Center for Another Feel Good Show

Dubbed across the globe as the “Ultimate Feel Good Show,” Clark State Community College will welcome the Choir of Man to the stage of the Clark State Performing Arts Center for the second consecutive year. Tickets to see the Choir of Man range in price from $25 to $50 and are available on ticketmaster.com. The show begins at 8 p.m., Saturday, February 29 at the Clark State Performing Arts Center in downtown Springfield.
