Semiconductor Maintenance Technician Technical Certificate

This program is available at the Springfield - Leffel Lane location.

This certificate prepares students for entry level industrial maintenance positions in the semiconductor supply chain. Students earn the OSHA 10 hour safety certification and this curriculum aligns with the following:

  • National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) - Measurement, Materials, and Safety
  • National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) - Electrical Systems
  • National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) - Basic Hydraulic Systems
  • National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) - Basic Mechanical Systems
  • National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) - Basic Pneumatic Systems

Outcomes and Curriculum

  • Maintain semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Apply troubleshooting skills to identify and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
  • Demonstrate proper gowning and material handling procedures.
  • Utilize software interfaces for equipment control and monitoring and records of equipment maintenance activities.
