Campus Safety and Security
The Campus Safety and Security Department is staffed by Securitas Security Corp. The department maintains a close working relationship with the City of Springfield Police Department and the Clark County Sheriff’s Department, as well as other federal, state and local law enforcement agencies.
The department is committed to campus safety and security. It is the department’s mission to provide a safe and secure environment for students, employees and visitors on campus. To report incidents, please call the Safety and Security Department at extension 3856.
The College’s Crisis Response Manual guides campus operations in the event of an emergency.
Parking
Clark State permit holders are responsible for understanding and complying with parking policies and procedures. Your cooperation in following the parking regulations is greatly appreciated. The regulations provided apply to Clark State Community College campuses only. Streets around the campuses are governed by city ordinances.
Safety Escorts
Students, faculty and staff who would like safety escorts to their vehicle, please call Safety and Security at extension 3856.
Medical Assistance
If a situation is life threatening, please call 911 (from campus extensions dial 9-911). For non life threatening incidents, please call the health clinic nurse at extension 6042 and Safety and Security at extension 3856.
Lost and Found
There are several Lost and Found locations at Clark State:
- Leffel Lane Campus - Landess Technology & Learning Center - Admissions Office reception area in the Rotunda
- Downtown Campus - Brinkman Educational Center - Security Office Room 105
- Greene Center - Reception area
